Banking & Finance Lawyer – Dublin

About the Role
This role offers exposure to a broad spectrum of domestic and cross‑border finance transactions including real estate investment and development finance, fund finance, corporate debt, leveraged and acquisition finance, refinancings and restructurings.
Associates build market visibility through quality transactions and collaborate closely with other Dublin practice areas and Maples Group offices.
Duties
Advise on fund finance facilities and structures, including direct lending by private credit funds
Support and advise on leveraged acquisition financing transactions
Work on real estate investment and development financing matters
Advise on enforcement strategies, stand‑still arrangements and restructurings
Act for a domestic and international client base, representing both lenders and borrowers
Engage in business development activities, promoting the firm and seeking new work and cross‑selling opportunities
Supervise junior lawyers' work and share knowledge and experience within the team
Qualifications
Three to five years of post‑qualification experience in banking and finance
Experience or training completed with a leading law firm in Dublin or a major onshore jurisdiction
Strong academic background with excellent written communication and drafting skills
Excellent technical knowledge and strong commercial awareness
Highly organised, strong transactional management skills, self‑motivated and team‑orientated
