This is a non-production, non-managerial role .
The focus is on intake, storage, stock control, and readiness, ensuring production teams have what they need, when they need it, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, traceability, and organization .
This role will suit someone with strong warehouse or intake experience in a food environment, who is trusted, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility without people management duties.
Key Responsibilities Manage the intake, storage, and movement of ambient, chilled, and frozen goods Ensure all materials and products are correctly stored, rotated (FIFO), and fully traceable Support production by ensuring packaging, ingredients, and finished goods are available as required Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and in line with company procedures Maintain accurate stock records and complete all associated documentation and system entries Check incoming goods for accuracy, damage, and discrepancies, reporting issues promptly Follow all HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and company standards at all times Maintain excellent housekeeping and organization across all stores and ancillary areas Support audits and inspections by ensuring records and procedures are maintained Identify opportunities for improved organization and efficiency within stores operations Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse or intake role, ideally within a food production environment Experience using computerized warehousing or stock control systems Valid forklift license (essential) Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload effectively Pay, Hours Progression Hourly Rate: €***** - €***** per hour, depending on experience Progression: Clear opportunity to progress within the pay scale based on performance, responsibility, and experience Shift Pattern: Day shift, 7:30am - 5:00pm Breaks: Two 30-minute unpaid breaks Paid Hours: Approx.
