Senior Cyber Security Engineer - Embedded Software Opportunity
My client is seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join their Design and Architecture teams. This role presents a unique opportunity for career growth in the Automotive Cyber Security sector, with the chance to expand skills in broader Cyber Security areas.
The Role
You will be a key member of the Product Engineering team responsible for delivering products with robust security features, continually improving Cyber Security posture, and responding to emerging threats.
Key Responsibilities
* Guide delivery engineering teams through technical onboarding processes for build processes into PKI
* Integrate with various Cyber Security tools within and outside CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth operations
* Collaborate with Product Engineering teams to meet project timelines and deliver Vehicle Programmes
Experience Needed
Applicants should have:
* Good experience in Cryptography, particularly in embedded contexts
* Hands-on experience with safety-critical embedded SW, design, coding, and build
* Knowledge of Python programming language
* Understanding of high-integrity systems and secure software/hardware design principles in embedded environments
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Good knowledge of Cyber Security technologies used to protect embedded systems
* Experience performing TARA, security concepts, and other Cyber Security artefacts mentioned in ISO 21434
* Ability to work with suppliers
* Qualification in Cyber Security or equivalent experience

Working Conditions
Based in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, this hybrid role requires working from home 5 days a week and 2 days a month on-site.
