Key Responsibilities:
* Greet all guests in a warm, professional, and welcoming manner.
* Show guests to their tables and allocate seating according to the flow of service and business needs.
* Manage the flow of guests during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
* Ensure effective communication between the front desk and all departments.
* Maintain the presentation and atmosphere of the reception area (lighting, music, temperature, cleanliness).
* Handle incoming phone calls, transfer calls to relevant departments, and take clear, accurate messages.
* Manage email communications professionally and promptly.
* Assist with booking enquiries for both small tables and large group reservations, ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Conduct show-arounds and meetings with potential clients when needed.
* Carry out ad-hoc administrative and office duties as required.
Requirements:
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
* Fluency in English is essential.
* Previous front desk or reception experience in a busy hospitality environment.
* Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
* A valid work permit to work in Ireland.
* References required.
