Overview
At Gallagher, we are looking for an ambitious Business Analyst with expertise in business integrations, system migration, process mapping, and exceptional stakeholder management skills to join our UK Retail Insurance Division.
You will work closely with impacted business areas and individuals to deliver efficient and accurate analysis that drives solutions for projects. Your analysis will introduce changes to our processes and systems in a controlled and methodical manner.

How you'll make an impact
* Recognise and understand business problems and primary objectives of new projects, challenging objectives and scope where necessary.
* Support operational improvements by removing waste and promoting consistent ways of working.
* Build excellent relationships with key partners, using various techniques and methodologies to elicit and endorse requirements.
* Create functional requirements, coordinate walk-throughs and sign-offs, ensuring models accurately match business needs.
* Document needs to support efficient translation into solution requirements.
* Plan, design, and deliver the handover of business processes to the functional owner, allowing for continuous improvement.
* Design and support the management of User Acceptance Testing, providing input into resolution of any fixes.
* Support project rollout and handover.
* Act as a champion for change in a fast-paced change environment.
* Be a self-starter, well-organised, and able to work independently on complex tasks to deliver high-quality results.
About you
* Previous experience gained as a Business Analyst with a background in business processes and system migration would be preferrable.
* Proficient knowledge of MS Office software, including Visio.
* Experience using project tools such as Jira.
* Experience in creating As-Is and To-Be business process maps and wireframes.
* Expertise in requirements elicitation, fit/gap analysis, and preparation of functional design documents.
* Experience finding opportunities for process and system improvements.
* Ability to confidently manage and sustain key relationship networks within a project environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding presentation of business and options analysis.
* Ability to extract and piece together required learning from a broad range of opportunities and sources.
* Experience working in matrix teams across multiple offices, including third-party suppliers.
* Commercial and customer-minded, able to perform analysis that delivers customer and outcome-focused solutions.
* Deadline-driven, setting priorities to achieve time-bound outcomes; lead and motivate others through good people management skills, a creative problem-solver with an ambitious, can-do attitude.
* Eligible to work in the UK with client site travel required.
