Retail Manager – Supermarket – Limerick
Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager to join our client's supermarket in Co. Limerick. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to lead and inspire a team, drive store performance, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Salary: €45k – €50k
Responsibilities:
1. Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team to achieve store goals and deliver excellent customer service
2. Drive sales, manage budgets, and ensure the store meets its financial targets.
3. Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing customer queries and concerns efficiently
4. Oversee inventory control, ensuring stock levels are maintained and minimising wastage
5. Manage day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and compliance with health and safety regulations
6. Ensure products are well-displayed, maintaining the store's visual standards and promotional activities
7. Handle recruitment, training, and performance management of staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Requirements:
8. Experience in a managerial role in a supermarket or retail environment
9. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
10. Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
11. Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing budgets
