Responsibilities:
1. Providing an efficient high-quality audit and accounting service to a portfolio of clients, including audits, large SMEs, and third-party reporting clients.
2. Ensuring compliance of the Audit/Accounts function in line with audit and accounting standards.
3. Conducting annual compliance reviews as required by CPA.
4. Mentoring, training, developing, and supervising the audit team.
5. Maintaining effective communication with partners, clients, and team members.
6. Auditing SME companies, including clients reporting to the CRA and Central Bank.
7. Preparing financial statements for larger audit-exempt companies.
8. Providing technical assistance to the accounting & audit team.
9. Preparing and presenting reports to clients and partners upon request.
Requirements:
1. 5+ years of practice experience in Audit.
2. Knowledge of Accounting and Auditing Standards.
3. Previous leadership role in practice.
4. Strong technical ability.
5. Computer skills including knowledge of accounting & audit software.
6. Excellent communication skills, including team building and client relationship management.
