Orange Recruitment are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental, Health & Safety Lead to take ownership of all EHS activities on a landmark construction project located in the heart of Dublin. As the EHS Lead, you will oversee a dedicated safety team and work closely with the wider project leadership to ensure the highest standards of safety, environmental responsibility, and wellbeing are achieved across every stage of construction. Responsibilities: Lead all Environmental, Health & Safety activities for a major Dublin-based project. Implement and manage the company's EHS management systems in line with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards. Provide clear, visible, and confident safety leadership, engaging, motivating, and guiding both your EHS team and project personnel. Collaborate with the Project Director, Construction Managers, and subcontractors to ensure EHS standards are fully integrated into daily site operations. Identify potential hazards and apply forward-thinking measures to prevent incidents before they occur. Maintain and develop the site-specific EHS Management Plan, risk registers, and control strategies. Conduct regular audits, inspections, and performance reviews, ensuring prompt follow-up on corrective actions. Manage incident investigations, including root cause analysis, reporting, and implementation of preventive measures. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and statutory bodies on all EHS-related matters. Deliver and oversee safety training, toolbox talks, and safety campaigns that promote positive behavioural change. Track, analyse, and report EHS performance metrics to senior management and project stakeholders. Champion a collaborative, open culture where safety ownership is shared by everyone onsite. Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, innovation, and alignment with industry best practice. Requirements: Degree or Higher Diploma (Level 8 or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related discipline. 8-10 years' experience in an EHS leadership role within a main contractor or PSCS environment. Proven track record managing safety on large-scale, complex construction projects. Strong working knowledge of Irish safety legislation, environmental standards, and ISO management systems. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence behaviour, and manage multiple stakeholders effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel and PowerPoint). Full, clean driving licence.
