The Opportunity
Our client, a boutique financial services firm, is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Mortgage Advisor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys building relationships, generating business, and delivering high-quality, client-focused mortgage advice.
The successful candidate will be supported with some warm leads while also having the autonomy to generate their own business. With a €30 million annual drawdown target and a strong support structure in place, this role offers genuine earning potential, with six-figure OTE achievable.
Key Responsibilities
As a Mortgage Advisor, your day-to-day duties will include:
Providing expert mortgage advice across residential and personal mortgage products
Managing clients through the full mortgage lifecycle, from initial consultation to loan drawdown
Generating new business through self-sourced leads, referrals, introducers, and networking
Managing and converting company-provided leads effectively
Building and maintaining strong relationships with:
New and existing clients
Solicitors, estate agents, and professional introducers
Lending institutions
Conducting detailed fact-finds and affordability assessments
Preparing, submitting, and tracking mortgage applications with lenders
Ensuring all advice and documentation is fully compliant with Central Bank regulations
Maintaining accurate client records and case notes on internal systems
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth processing and drawdowns
Working consistently towards achieving a €30m annual drawdown target
Keeping up to date with market changes, lender criteria, and regulatory updates
The Ideal Candidate
You will be:
A self-motivated, proactive Mortgage Advisor
Comfortable generating leads and building your own pipeline
Commercially focused with a strong results-driven mindset
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
A confident communicator with a professional, consultative approach
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Mortgage Advisory role
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Strong knowledge of the Irish mortgage market and lender criteria
