Job Title: Senior Health and Safety Manager
As a Senior Health and Safety Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees. You will be responsible for managing the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of health and safety protocols and procedures across all site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
* Supporting the team in health and safety management and execution of new projects and programs.
* Providing direction and advice to site management on national and EU safety legislation, relevant machinery safety standards, and best available techniques.
* Providing technical safety input into the design and construction of new facilities, automation lines, and process equipment.
* Designing and implementing corporate safety systems with a specific emphasis on process safety management, process hazards analysis, industrial hygiene, risk assessment, accident and injury reporting, and change control.
* Developing and implementing site occupational health programs.
* Leading and supporting the investigation of health and safety incidents/accidents, recommending and driving corrective and preventive actions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Excellent analytical and technical writing skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
* Excellent presentation, organizational, and training skills.
* Ability to interpret regulatory requirements, technical drawings, and procedures.
* Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Good computer skills (MS Office, Visio, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
* Fluent in written and spoken English.
* Degree qualified in Automation, Electrical, or Process Engineering or similar.
* Certificate in Health & Safety from an accredited institution or Tech IOSH certification, or proven experience in process safety.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production environment.
