Overview
Sprinkler Contracts Manager – Damastown, Ireland.
The role involves delivering Commercial, Schedule, Quality and Safety expectations for projects, in line with company and client requirements.
Roles And Responsibilities
Successfully deliver the projects assigned by Senior Management in the Nordics and Europe.
Oversee all project staff and operations under their remit.
Adequately resource contracts with suitably trained operatives and quality suppliers.
Implement group policies and procedures and ensure adherence.
Report project performance to General Manager and Managing Director.
Maintain strong customer relations with site visits, progress updates and issue resolution.
Review and improve project delivery effectiveness by implementing company lead improvement projects.
Implement the company's Safety, Quality, Schedule and Project Management processes on their projects.
Oversee site operations to ensure processes are implemented and adhered to.
Monitor and control project budgets/margins with Senior Management on a monthly basis.
Ensure contracts are mobilised and planned within budget, with a clear scope communicated to Supervisors and Operatives.
Maintain on-site practices, promote a right-first-time culture in Safety and Quality, and complete QA checks and sign-offs as required.
Support EHS by preparing safety paperwork and monitoring health and safety practices through site walks, toolbox talks, inspections and equipment checks.
Maintain site records and substantiation in the job file.
Capture progress and variation information for accurate reporting.
Foster a highly motivated work environment at all levels and across departments.
Provide feedback to senior management on standout performance and inform of issues as they arise.
Support implementation of company lead improvement projects at the work front.
Requirements And Skills
Capable in planning and project budgeting.
Knowledge of Project Management processes and functions (Finance, HR, Procurement, Design, Site operations, etc.).
Excellent communication skills.
Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
Problem-solving aptitude.
5+ years' experience in the Fire Protection Design & Build sector.
Relevant qualifications in Project and Construction Programme Management.
