The Four Star Hotel Imperial Dundalk are currently recruiting a Reservations & Events Manager. The hotel has undergone extensive refurbishment and is finished to a very high standard. We require a candidate with strong customer service experience in a 4* setting to take responsibility for all reservations and event enquiries, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all hotel reservations efficiently and accurately
* Handle event enquiries, planning, and coordination from start to finish
* Work closely with the operations and sales teams to ensure smooth event delivery
* Communicate with clients in a professional and friendly manner
* Prepare function sheets and ensure all event details are captured correctly
* Maximise room occupancy and event revenue
* Maintain high standards of guest service and satisfaction
Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Exceptional selling skills both up selling and cross selling
* Attention to detail
* Strong customer focus skills
* Positive attitude to work
* Experience in working as Reservations and Events Manager is essential
* A commitment to offering exceptional service and standards.
* Proficient in Guestline or similar reservations software.
* Applicants must have fluent English
* Ability to work well in a team environment and on own initiative essential.
