About the Role
We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate individuals to join our team of psychologists who support children and adolescents with additional needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, providing evidence-based recommendations, and collaborating closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
* Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioural functioning of children and adolescents.
* Collaborating closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic approaches to supporting children and their families.
* Offering consultation and support to parents, caregivers, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate understanding of developmental and psychological issues.
Qualifications & Experience
* A recognised university degree or diploma in psychology with first or second-class honours is required.
* A postgraduate qualification in Clinical/ Educational Psychology accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) is also necessary.
* A minimum of two years' experience in clinical practice preferably working with children and adolescents is ideal.
