Job Description
The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the Pen Needle assembly and packaging operations, fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People objectives.
This leadership position requires the ability to provide strategic guidance to Shift Managers and production teams to deliver on key objectives, ensuring full Health & Safety compliance and engagement across the plant. Additionally, it is crucial to guarantee that all devices manufactured meet or exceed Quality and Regulatory requirements.
* Provide visionary leadership to the Shift Managers and production teams to achieve SQDCP goals.
* Maintain a robust Safety-First culture by ensuring Health & Safety compliance and engaging plant employees.
* Ensure that all manufactured devices adhere to Quality and Regulatory standards.
* Develop and execute plans to optimize resource allocation, ensuring seamless flow of units through the manufacturing process to meet production schedules.
* Monitor and optimize stock levels of Work-In-Progress (WIP) in production areas.
* Guarantee compliance with required environmental standards within the production area.
* Play a key role in internal and external audits.
* Lead the development of team members through coaching, delegation, performance reviews, and developmental assignments/projects.
* Collaborate with Continuous Improvement (CI) teams to identify and implement opportunities to enhance work processes and methods, resulting in efficiency gains and waste reduction.
* Oversee the weekly Business Operation System (BOS) process to ensure line productivity and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvements are achieved.
* Participate in project planning as needed.
