Accounts Technician / Assistant Accountant- Portadown Reed Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with one of Northern Ireland's Leading Distributors. Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Accounts Technician / Assistant Accountant to join their established accountancy team. This vacancy has arisen due to company growth. Key responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts. Monthly accruals & prepayments. Processing of sales and purchase invoices as required. Supplier payments, bank reconciliations, expenses and credit card postings. Balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany transactions and journal postings. Preparation of VAT, intrastat and EC sales Support in the preparation of year end statutory accounts and audit including ad hoc analysis. General accounting and administrative duties Essential eligibility criteria: Qualified Accounts Technician / Part Qualified Accountant Experience of preparing management accounts Experience of a multi-company, multi-currency finance environment IT Proficient in Sage Accounts This position is offering a very competitive salary package, and the opportunity to work under the guidance of a supportive Finance Director.
