**Overview**
The Ireland Client Expenses Team plays a vital role in the payment of Third Party, Management, Performance and Directors fee payments, as well as the calculation and filing of all related tax returns. This team is responsible for preparing and reviewing client budgets on a quarterly basis.
This Consultant position will provide increased control and oversight to the team, based in Limerick. The successful individual will oversee an operations team of Accountants, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all client expenses production processes. They will consult with clients and partners to deliver a first-class service, identifying and developing process improvements, system enhancements, and optimizing effectiveness within the group and across the department.
The ideal candidate will have strong systems, product, and process knowledge, along with the ability to lead, motivate, and engage partners. Previous experience in fund administration, operations, or accounting is particularly valuable for this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the Ireland Client Expenses operational process
* Lead and guide partners, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication
* Ensure accuracy and timeliness across financial and accounting matters, meeting SLA, project, and audit deliverables
* Drive and lead the review and approval of payments and budgets, file tax returns, and resolve client queries
* Maintain unrivaled client satisfaction and continuously improve departmental performance, focusing on quality, risk mitigation, efficiencies, and internal controls
* Work collaboratively with the wider Fund Administration Ireland team to seek opportunities for productivity and quality improvement within the department
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience in overseeing accounts payable functions for multi-national organizations is beneficial
* Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, planning, presentation, leadership, and motivational skills are essential
* Proven client management skills, delivering deadlines in high-volume, deadline-driven environments
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and the ability to represent the business to clients through presentations
