Job Summary:
This role involves working as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care in the Endoscopy Unit.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
About the Role:
To develop and maintain good relationships with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and ensure patient safety by monitoring vital signs.
Key Responsibilities:
* To work as a member of a team of nurses providing high-quality patient-centered care.
* To take responsibility for equipment such as endoscopy monitors and diathermy machines.
* To monitor safe use of supplies.
The nurse will be responsible for assisting with biopsies and following hospital policies and procedures including infection control and health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
* Registered General Nurse with The Nursing and Midwifery Bord of Ireland (NMBI).
* Previous Endoscopy Qualification desirable. At least 1 year's post-registration experience essential.
