Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and updating the Quality Management System (QMS) documentation/records/systems.

* Driving process efficiency, resolving/providing feedback on issues related to quality control and assurance
* Conducting and reporting on internal audits as per the annual schedule and closing out of any non-conformances that arise

The Quality Assurance Specialist will also be responsible for:


Key Responsibilities

* Analyzing, identifying, and implementing manufacturing and/or business process improvements that will improve overall performance and capability
* Assisting engineering teams on product/process verification for new and existing products to ensure compliance with quality standards
* Running Corrective Action Preventative Actions (CAPA) systems and all related tasks to identify and mitigate potential quality risks
* Lead quality problem investigations using proven quality tools and methodologies to drive root cause analysis and corrective action
* Assist with operating and maintaining calibration systems to ensure accuracy and precision in quality-related measurements
* Managing and coordinating various quality-related projects and quality aspects of production programs to drive continuous improvement and excellence
* Provide quality support to operations, including leading and supporting root cause driven approaches to problem-solving efforts for quality issues and concerns
* Developing and implementing quality controls for a new and existing product lines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements


Requirements and Skills

* Ability to be self-directed, self-motivated, and able to prioritize and resolve competing priorities effectively
* Strong team member with the ability to identify and drive quality improvements through collaborative efforts and effective communication
* Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to facilitate effective collaboration and coordination among teams
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex quality concepts and ideas to diverse stakeholders
* Good investigative and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail to analyze complex quality issues and drive corrective action
* Decision making capability coupled with the ability to work independently and proactively to drive quality initiatives and improvements
