Position Summary:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position is that of a Trade-in Operative who will be responsible for the day-to-day provision of services in the MacroEV services centre.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Perform detailed inspection of inbound / outbound devices including quality assessments of each device returned via our trade-in channels
* Salvage components (where applicable) and provide unit replacement services to improve device grading for onward sale
* Perform day-to-day operations tasks utilising our systems / portals
* Support the Services Administrator in the resolution of any customer (internal or external) /vendor queries and escalations
* Weekly reporting and adhering to department KPI's / Metrics
* Manage Stock / Parts
* Engage and support vendors
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* PC literate with strong competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.
* Good working knowledge of mobile devices including phone & tablets
* Genuine interest in mobile technologies including Google, Apple, Samsung
* Ability to work comfortably on multiple platforms
* Strong customer / vendor focus and problem-solving abilities
* Have good written communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
* Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
* Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
* Pride in the quality and presentation of work
* Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
