A leading private hospital groupis seeking an experienced Principal Medical Physicist to oversee all aspects of Radiation Oncology Physics within a brand newcancer centre opening in Limerick, Ireland later this year.
Responsibilities
This senior role includes responsibility for equipment commissioning and calibration, comprehensive quality assurance programmes, advanced treatment planning (3D-CRT, IMRT, VMAT, radiosurgery, brachytherapy), Medical Physics Expert (MPE) review, radiation safety compliance (EPA/HIQA), and day-to-day coordination of the Medical Physics service.
Requirements
MSc/PhD in Medical Physics (or related discipline)
Registered/eligible MPE (Ireland/UK/EU/US/Canada)
Strong experience in Linac calibration, QA, and advanced radiotherapy techniques
