Digital Communications Officer (Grade V)
St. Michael's House seeks a full-time Digital Communications Officer to support the development, management and execution of a digital communication strategy for St Michael's House.
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator and knowledgeable in all things digital, including creating compelling content for social media, websites and e-newsletters aligned with the vision, mission and values of St Michael's House.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a digital communication strategy for St Michael's House
* Create engaging content for social media, websites and e-newsletters
* Support the development of website content and manage website updates
* Manage social media accounts and create content calendars
* Analyze engagement metrics and adjust content strategies accordingly
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency across all channels
* Stay up-to-date with current digital trends and best practices
Essential Qualifications:
* Degree in Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, Journalism or other relevant qualification
* Proven track record of creating and managing engaging content across various digital platforms
* Experience using social media tools, email marketing tools, website content management systems, video editing software, and design tools
* Strong administrative experience and organizational skills
* A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach
Desirable Experience:
* Experience in a similar role in the health and social care field
* Understanding of SEO, Google Ads, and Google Analytics
* Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
* Innovative thinking and ability to create fresh ideas for digital campaigns
* Experience with paid advertising on social media platforms
* Knowledge of Microsoft Packages
Benefits:
* Competitive salary range €51,206–€61,253 per annum based on working a 35-hour week
* 30 days annual leave pro rata based on hours worked
