Insight Global are looking for a skilled
Analyst
to join the Global Markets Operations Strategy team at a leading banking client for a long-term contract opportunity.
This role is ideal for driven graduates with a finance background, looking to step into a large financial corporation.
Please note that this role is
5 days onsite
, dropping down to 3 days onsite after the first few months and is for a
12-month contract
(with possible extensions).
Day to-Day Overview:
You'll work within the Global Fees and Billing team, supporting Global Markets Sales and Trading by managing third-party billing across multiple products. This includes recording, allocating, and reporting expenses and commissions, reconciling data, and partnering with internal teams and external agents.
You'll gain exposure to the trade lifecycle from initiation to settlement and help validate and monitor securities trade and settlement-related fees. The role involves handling large volumes of data, improving processes, mitigating risk, and supporting ad-hoc projects while liaising with stakeholders across the business.
Must-Have Requirements:
* Operational experience in financial services.
* Strong analytical and Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
* Ability to manage large data sets and manual processes.
* Understanding of operational controls and risk management.
* Ability to work under pressure, independently, and in a team.
* Client-facing experience within financial services or banking (or ability to develop this quickly).
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Plusses
* Experience with trade lifecycle, securities trade/settlement fees, reconciliation, or payments.
* Familiarity with Alteryx/Tableau.
* Exposure to trading desk/business-facing roles.
