Cloud Software Engineer
Description
We are seeking a talented Cloud Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, building, and deploying distributed systems.
The successful candidate will work with stakeholders to determine user requirements for features and support the identification of dependencies and design documents. They will learn to create and implement code for products, services, or features, reusing code as applicable.
The individual will assist in breaking down work items into tasks and provide estimation. They will act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) in monitoring system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions for simple problems and recommend actions to restore system/product/service by following the playbook.
They will review current developments and proactively seek new knowledge that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline, with proven experience coding in languages including but not limited to C, C++, C#, Rust, Java, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
* Demonstrated technical experience in cloud computing, distributed systems, and/or high-performance computing (HPC) systems.
* Demonstrated experience designing, building, and deploying distributed systems.
* Demonstrated experience maintaining high service reliability and availability for distributed systems.
