The Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Energy Consultant to join their sustainability team, specialising in non-domestic BER assessments and energy modelling.
This role involves delivering energy analysis, regulatory compliance assessments and strategic energy improvement advice across a range of commercial building projects.
You will conduct BER and Part L assessments, develop energy models using IES Virtual Environment, and carry out site surveys to gather building performance data.
Working closely with architects, engineers and building owners, you will provide technical insight, prepare detailed energy reports and support clients in identifying cost-effective energy efficiency and retrofit solutions.
Required Background
Degree qualified in Energy/Engineering background and must be a Registered Non-Domestic BER Assessor with SEAI
Minimum 3+ years’ experience
Strong proficiency in IESVE for building energy modelling and simulation
Strong understanding of Part L Building Regulations, NEAP methodology and SEAI guidance
Experience conducting site surveys and technical assessments of commercial buildings
Ability to produce clear technical reports and communicate complex findings to clients
Full Irish/EU driving licence with willingness to travel for site visits
