Job Description
As a Senior BMS/HVAC Engineer, in Ireland, you will be responsible for maintaining the systems to help keep buildings and facilities safe, secure, comfortable, and cost‑efficient. This role includes servicing critical building systems such as HVAC, building automation, and energy management, as well as building relationships with customers to understand their needs. This is a field‑based role covering clients mainly in the Dublin area, with travel to Cork and Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
Operate, maintain and interrogate Honeywell BMS controllers & field control systems
Carry out commissioning of small automation and controls projects
Undertake planned preventative maintenance tasks on control systems
Continuously ensure all energy‑saving measures for building services are monitored and modified accordingly
Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships on site
Key Skills and Qualifications
Experience within a similar role working with BMS systems or within facilities maintenance or mechanical and electrical engineering
Ability and willingness to learn about new systems and operational procedures
Good awareness of health and safety and related risk assessments
Ability to troubleshoot and fault‑find quickly to resolve reactive work efficiently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for compiling and completing reports
