Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of novel technologies and product concepts aligned with the companys strategic roadmap.
Solve advanced technical challenges and ensure the success of R&D deliverables across multiple projects.
Manage technology budgets, resource planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
Drive innovation and process effectiveness while maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards.
Represent R&D in core team meetings and external engagements.
Mentor technical talent, promote continuous learning, and foster a culture of innovation.
Build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to accelerate technology transfer and product development.
Promote inclusive collaboration and lead effectively in complex or ambiguous situations.
Experience and Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering (or related discipline).
8+ years experiencein product development, including at least5 years within the medical device sector.
Demonstrated leadership experience in complex R&D programmes.
Highly skilled in SolidWorks, a Certified user is highly desirable Proven technical and organisational capabilities across: Execution & Planning: Delivering milestones on time and within budget.
Risk & Budget Management: Leading mitigation strategies and managing R&D budgets.
Communication & Collaboration: Driving cross-functional alignment and clarity.
