A leading international insurance and assistance provider is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join its growing commercial team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven insurance professional to take ownership of new business growth while managing key strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth across insurers, MGAs, brokers, and strategic partners
Manage and develop a portfolio of key client relationships
Lead the full business development lifecycle including prospecting, tenders, commercial negotiations, and on-boarding
Deliver structured client reviews and performance reporting
Collaborate with internal operational, claims, IT, finance, and data teams to ensure high service delivery standards
Support onboarding and implementation of new client partnerships
Provide commercial leadership and contribute to a high-performance team culture
Experience Required:
5+ years’ experience in business development, sales leadership, or commercial partnerships within the insurance sector
Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and managing complex client relationships
Strong understanding of insurance distribution models and commercial contracting
APA qualification is essential
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
