This role involves working closely with the Customer Solutions Governance Manager to support the business managers and process owners across all areas of Customer Solutions, maintaining a robust governance and control framework.
Key Responsibilities
* Support delivery of quarterly and annual governance, risk management and compliance reporting.
* Challenge business managers in their quarterly assessment, ensuring key processes, risks and control activities are identified, operating and evidence‑based sign‑offs are in place.
* Champion a culture of good governance across Customer Solutions, providing advice and input on governance and compliance matters.
* Support completion of control reviews, audits and risk assessments, implementing recommendations to enhance the control environment.
* Coordinate miscellaneous governance activities as required.
* Deliver continuous improvement initiatives and projects within the governance function.
Essential Experience and Qualifications
* Third level qualification (preferably in Business or Finance).
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Governance, Risk or Compliance role.
* Excellent understanding of best practice Governance, Risk and Compliance.
* Strong auditing skills, able to identify issues, root causes and corrective actions.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Highly motivated – able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Desirable
* A GRC-related qualification.
* Process improvement experience.
Location
This position will be based in Swift Square, Santry.
ESB is committed to smart working – you may work flexibly within your jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in‑person collaboration on at least two anchor days per week.

Salary
€57,900 – €68,100
