We are looking for a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to oversee the technology expenditure within a regulated financial services environment. This is a pivotal leadership role focused on driving value, ensuring fiscal discipline, and aligning third-party partnerships with our broader digital evolution strategy. You will act as a bridge between technical leadership and commercial execution, ensuring every contract supports our long term stability and innovation goals. Core Leadership Responsibilities Direct a high impact team of procurement specialists. Work alongside the Head of Procurement to design multi-year category roadmaps. You will transform complex technical needs into actionable commercial strategies for Software, SaaS, and Professional Services. Navigate a complex, international matrix of senior executives. You must be able to translate technical requirements into commercial outcomes and vice versa, maintaining high visibility across the Finance and Tech leadership teams. Oversee the full lifecycle of complex RFx processes. This includes deep-dive market intelligence, Total Cost of Ownership modelling, and advanced negotiation of high-value renewals. Key Objectives Proactively identify efficiency opportunities within the existing IT portfolio to meet ambitious cost-optimisation targets. Maintain rigorous oversight of vendor contracts to ensure total alignment with internal risk frameworks and external financial regulatory standards. Modernise existing sourcing workflows. You will identify bottlenecks in the procurement process and implement best-in-class solutions to improve speed-to-market for new technologies. Partner closely with Legal, InfoSec, and Data Privacy teams to ensure all technical acquisitions are secure, compliant, and legally sound. Required Experience: An ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background. It is essential that you can \"speak the language\" of our IT architects and engineers to ensure sourcing strategies are technically sound and strategically aligned. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a technical discipline (Engineering/CS background highly regarded). At least 10 years of professional experience in strategic sourcing, specifically focusing on IT/Tech categories. Minimum of 5 years in a management capacity, with a proven ability to mentor and scale a high-performing team. Preferred Skills: Strong aptitude for financial modelling, budget oversight, and commercial benchmarking. Familiarity with the compliance landscape governing modern Irish financial institutions. Exceptional negotiation prowess and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
