Job Title: Food and Beverage Manager- £40k Location: Newry Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive + Benefits Reports To: Deputy General Manager About Us We are a distinguished 4-star luxury hotel renowned for its exceptional guest experience, elegant surroundings, and culinary excellence. With its prestigious 2 Rosette-award winning Gullion restaurant, an award-winning bistro, and a stylish bar, we offer a variety of exquisite dining experiences that celebrate local ingredients and refined hospitality. We are now seeking a passionate and results-driven Food and Beverage Manager to lead our talented team and elevate our dining operations to even greater heights. Role Overview The Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for the overall management and performance of all food and beverage outlets within the hotel. You will ensure the highest standards of service, quality, and guest satisfaction while maintaining financial performance and team development. This role is suited to an experienced, hands-on F&B professional with a strong background in both fine dining and more casual yet high-quality food and beverage offerings. A great opportunity for someone with ambition and the drive to step up from an Assistant Manager position into a full management role. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the daily operations of the 2 Rosette restaurant, award-winning bistro, and bar. Ensure exceptional guest experiences across all outlets through consistent service excellence. Drive F&B sales and profitability by managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling costs. Collaborate with the Head Chef and culinary team on menu development, presentation, and innovation. Recruit, train, inspire, and manage a dynamic front-of-house team. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures and health & safety regulations. Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to service delivery. Manage stock control, ordering, supplier relationships, and inventory. Work closely with the Events and Sales teams to deliver memorable private dining, events, and weddings. About You Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or similar senior role in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment Strong leadership and team-building skills with a hands-on, service-led approach In-depth knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and hospitality trends Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities NVQ Level 3 in Hospitality Management is desirable. GCSEs including Maths and English are required. Food Hygiene Certificate and allergen knowledge are essential. WSET Level 1 in Wines is desirable. Skills: Food and Beverage Manager Hotel
