Job Overview

This role involves providing support to the Project Group Manager in efficiently managing assigned portfolios.



Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and assist project workers, volunteers, and staff as delegated by the Project Group Manager.
* Develop an induction program for new staff members.
* Assess training needs and provide opportunities for growth.
* Recruit and interview service staff and volunteers with the line manager's input.



Areas of Expertise


Staff Management:

* Supervise project workers and volunteers as directed by the Project Group Manager.
* Design and implement an induction program for new employees.
* Evaluate training requirements and develop relevant opportunities.
* Lead the recruitment process for service staff and volunteers.


Volunteer Development:

* Train volunteers in delivering services to clients.


Health and Safety:

* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the project.
* Maintain property, furnishings, and fabric to a high standard.


Financial Management:

* Implement financial procedures and ensure adherence.
* Manage expenses within budget guidelines.


Service Delivery:

* Meet client needs according to funder requirements.
* Regularly review risk assessments and support plans.
* Ensure adequate staffing coverage at all times.


Team Collaboration:

* Conduct weekly team meetings and review sessions.
* Foster a collaborative team environment.


General Expectations:

* Continuously develop the role to meet strategic objectives.
* Perform tasks effectively and professionally.
