I'm working with a fast-growing Irish organisation that is expanding across Ireland and mainland Europe and is now looking to appoint a Senior Financial Accountant into its Dublin-based finance team.
The Role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will:
Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts for European entities
Own P&L delivery, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany accounting
Reconcile local GAAP to Group accounting standards
Produce monthly reporting packs with clear variance and trend analysis
Take responsibility for investment and goodwill accounting
Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
Act as a key contact for external audit and audit queries
Manage and develop a small cross-border finance team
Drive process and systems improvements within the finance function
The Ideal Profile
ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent), ideally Big 4 / Top 8 trained
3+ years post-qualification experience in industry
Strong technical accounting and group reporting background
Experience in multi-entity or international environments
Exposure to European operations highly advantageous
People management or review experience preferred
Strong Excel skills; Business Central experience beneficial
Confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment
