Reseller Operations is the voice of the Reseller Channel within Operations.
We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated individual with strong analytical abilities, project management skills, and excellent communication skills to join the RO Central team as a Demand planner & NPI Product Lead.
In this deeply analytical and collaborative role, you will drive reseller channel partner sell-through, using expert data analytics, relationship management, and project leadership to optimise demand forecasting and ensure successful new product introductions.
Description
In this role responsibilities will span across the RO Central demand planning and NPI team.
You will work closely with internal teams to maximise sell-through, optimise inventory levels, and ensure smooth and successful product launches.
This role requires a strong understanding of demand planning principles, project management methodologies, and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
Identifying and implementing automation opportunities and continuous enhancements will be key focus areas.
Demand Planning:
Work with RO Customer Support Account Managers to maximise order chase and drive partners to the optimal in-stocks, ranging, and digital strategies to maximize revenue potential.
Develop early alert mechanisms through analytical insights in our Operations data sets to monitor key metrics/business performance and define assignable actions.
Drive a management system to support forecast, order book insights, and demand planning.
Undertake meaningful qualitative feedback on performance and velocity.
Challenge, influence, and negotiate with operational stakeholders across the organisation.
Manage the validation & publication of weekly shipment plans.
New Product Introduction (NPI) Product Lead:
Coordinate NPI product launches across Reseller Operations, connecting various elements of NPI project plans, including deliverables, timelines, and risk management.
Oversee and provide feedback on supply allocation at NPI to ensure Sell-Thru is maximised across all Reseller Partners.
Provide executive updates to the wider RO team and senior leadership.
Connect the dots and manage project plans, timelines, and risks effectively.
Partner strongly with multiple cross-functional teams, including Readiness, Logistics & SDX, to ensure launch success.
Own regional strategy and ensure that it aligns with global direction while driving efficiencies in-region.
Provide timely notification to partner and leadership teams where course correction is required.
Deliver results under deeply tight and high-pressure timelines in a highly ambiguous environment.
Be the voice of Reseller Operations in Cross-Functional NPI forums.
Capture learnings and feedback from each product launch and continue to push for excellence.
Analyse the root cause of issues, drive resolution, and implement process improvements.
Demonstrate agility to meet the challenges of Apple's constantly evolving business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant degree in Engineering, Maths, Economics, Supply Chain, Statistics, or Data Science.
Operations experience in a high-tech or similar industry.
Strong analytical and business judgement skills.
Proficiency in Excel or data visualisation tools.
Experience in planning disciplines or NPI/Supply Chain/Manufacturing environments.
Experience leading cross-functional or strategic projects.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong experience in a related field (e.g., Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Ops, Project Management).
Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, complex environments.
High attention to detail with a continuous-improvement mindset.
Effective relationship builder with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
Able to present complex data clearly and influence senior partners.
