Your new role We are seeking a Plant Manager to lead the daily operations for the plant and to ensure reliability and consistency in HSE/Compliance and the smooth execution of the production line. You will contribute and lead in the development of a business plan for the business unit as a whole. Be involved in discussions with other disciplines about future developments and consequences for the business unit. Develop a strategic midterm plan for the manufacturing unit based upon the agreed strategic plan for the whole unit. Responsible as site leader for the management and overall leadership of the plant. Lead and manage the manufacturing production facility in order to reach defined targets in HSE, compliance, revenue, quality, cost, delivery and safety. Lead and develop the plant management team in performance development and career growth and in executing on business strategy goals and objectives. Lead and drive accountability for everyone meeting delivery and execution for manufacturing plant. Deliver a best-in-class OTD target at 100%, zero past dues and overdue backlog. Be responsible for overall cost actions within the plant, focus on VCP, cost management and bullet trains, along with tight control for plant management. Responsible for overall plant backlog integrity and date maintenance. What you'll need to succeed Engineering or supply chain Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 15 additional years of experience, ideally in Plant Management and materials management. Experience in planning and materials management leadership roles. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
