Role/Department
As part of the Custody Tax Operations team, the Tax Analyst plays a central role in international withholding tax processing. Reporting to the Team Leader, responsibilities include managing client tax documentation, identifying opportunities to reduce withholding tax, and ensuring timely and accurate responses to client inquiries. The role requires quick, professional responses and a focus on continuous service improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Team Manager and Team Leader with assigned tasks.
* Process, scan, record, distribute, and file large volumes of documentation daily.
* Review colleagues' work for accuracy.
* Provide training and generate control reports as needed.
* Handle complex queries and escalate issues to specialists or regional teams.
* Respond promptly to queries from clients, custodians, and Relationship Managers.
* Collaborate with relevant contacts to deliver excellent service, escalating issues appropriately.
* Adhere to service level agreements and aim to exceed client expectations.
* Review processes for efficiency and quality standards.
