Junior Intermediate Health & Safety Advisor Substation (North Dublin) A Junior to Intermediate Health & Safety Advisor is required to support the delivery of substation and utilities infrastructure projects across North Dublin.
This is a site-based role working on major power and civil engineering schemes, ideal for a Safety Advisor with experience in heavy civils and utilities environments who is looking to further develop their career within large-scale infrastructure works.
The role would suit candidates with experience gained in Ireland, the UK, or Australia on civil engineering, power, or utilities projects.
Role: Support the implementation of the project Health & Safety Management System on site.
Carry out site inspections, audits, and risk assessments on substation and civil works.
Assist in the preparation and review of RAMS, method statements, and safe systems of work.
Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
Monitor compliance with statutory requirements, company procedures, and client standards.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformances, producing reports and corrective actions.
Liaise with Site Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors to promote a positive safety culture.
Support emergency planning and environmental controls on live infrastructure sites.
Requirements: 14+ years experience in a Health & Safety role within civil engineering, utilities, power, or infrastructure projects.
Experience on substation, energy, heavy civils, or utilities schemes is highly desirable.
Background working in Ireland, the UK, or Australia.
Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent).
Knowledge of Irish and/or UK H&S legislation and construction regulations.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work in a site-based, fast-paced environment.
Proficient in report writing and use of Microsoft Office.
Full driving licence and right to work in Ireland.
Location & Working Pattern: North Dublin site based on substation and utilities projects.
Full-time, permanent role.
