Senior Tax Manager Job Description
The role of a Senior Tax Manager involves overseeing the timely and accurate completion of corporate income tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage timely and accurate completion of corporate income tax returns to meet regulatory requirements.
* Provide guidance to senior management on complex tax issues, identify tax savings opportunities and develop strategies to minimize tax liability.
* Assist senior management with various issues related to global mobility.
* Support senior management with internal and external tax inquiries/tax audits as they arise.
* Contribute to the preparation of local and master transfer pricing files.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in tax legislation.
* Train and guide junior staff members.
* Carry out ad-hoc research in relation to tax issues arising.
Requirements:
* Professional tax qualification (AITI/CTA or equivalent) ideally accounting qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
* PQE tax experience with Big 4 or Top 10 public accounting firm and/or multinational corporation desired.
* Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
* Excellent drafting, communication, and organisational skills.
* A high level of motivation and friendly manner to engage effectively with colleagues, advisors, and stakeholders.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Capability to analyse complex tax issues and provide solutions.
* Proven track-record demonstrating hard work, ambition, and self-improvement.
