We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established leader in HVAC and pipework mechanical installation, seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Liaise with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progression.
* Supervise and coordinate the work of the on‑site workforce, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards at all times.
* Perform quality control inspections and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
* Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to the site and manage logistics.
* Provide technical support and guidance on the installation of HVAC and pipework systems.
* Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure work is completed as per client requirements.
* Report on progress, issues, and any delays to the project manager or senior site management team.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Engineer, with a focus on HVAC and pipework mechanical installation.
* Strong understanding of mechanical installation techniques and systems.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* In‑depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly in construction and mechanical installation projects.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and liaise with clients.
* Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent) preferred.
* Previous experience with commercial and industrial HVAC systems would be a significant advantage.
