Senior Recruitment Specialist - Arcadis DPS Group | Pharma/Biopharma (Tech Transfer) | Oil & Gas
Arcadis DPS Engineering are seeking an Instrumentation Design Engineer (Oil & Gas) for an assignment located in East Cork. This is initially a 6-month contract, with potential for extension and more. One day working from home, four days on site.
This role will involve design and life cycle of all Instrumentation installations and equipment in support of Capital Projects, Technical, Maintenance, Operations and HSE. The Instrumentation Design Engineer is to provide technical design with focus on safety, schedule, and cost management adherence, while complying with good engineering practices, company policies, and all applicable regulations and codes of practice.
The Role
* Generating detailed scope of work packages for Instrumentation and automation contractors for tender/procurement process, applying value engineering where possible.
* Define the Instrumentation requirements for capital projects and interact with internal & external stakeholders, vendors, and contractors for tender negotiation, cost estimates, constructability, and safety reviews.
* Input into Project Management regarding the Instrumentation discipline within projects including cost estimates, planning, and schedule reporting.
* Responsible for providing the Instrumentation technical information to procurement for new and replacement equipment.
* Generation of I/O lists, equipment index, cable block diagrams, and Loop drawings (AutoCAD).
* Knowledge of ATEX and Hazardous Area compliance within the Instrumentation designs.
* Assist with the Coordination of the I & I contractors during construction and commissioning activities where applicable.
* Ability to manage workload of multiple projects of varying complexity.
Requirements
* Degree qualified Instrumentation Engineer with design experience within refining or a similar industry.
* Experience in developing instrumentation data sheets is essential.
* Additional qualification or experience in Instrumentation, Functional Safety, ATEX, or related experience is highly desirable.
