Role Overview
The Advanced Nurse Practitioner plays a vital role in healthcare development and patient support under the direction of Health Care Providers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop clinical pathways for ambulatory presentations to enhance patient care.
2. Collaborate with emergency nursing and medicine teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
3. Identify patients suitable for the ambulatory stream and work primarily in this area.
4. Diagnose and treat minor medical and surgical conditions, urological issues, and post-exposure prophylaxis cases.
5. Continuously develop new pathways for ambulatory presentations to improve service standards.
6. Conduct audits and establish performance metrics to measure service effectiveness.
7. Pursue academic preparation to acquire necessary clinical and leadership skills, competencies, and knowledge required for registration as an RANP with NMBI.
