About Us
International Kids Coding Association (IKCA) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering children in vulnerable and underserved communities through digital skills and coding education. From refugee camps to disadvantaged schools worldwide, we believe coding opens doors to creativity, opportunity, and a brighter future.
The Role
We are looking for passionate
Volunteer Coding Teachers
to help us bring coding education to children who need it most. As part of our global team, you will deliver fun, engaging lessons in coding and computational thinking—helping students build skills and confidence for the future.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach coding basics (Scratch, Python, robotics, or similar) to children aged 7–16.
* Deliver online or in-person lessons, adapted to diverse learning environments.
* Support students in creating coding projects, games, and animations.
* Collaborate with IKCA staff and volunteers to share best practices and resources.
* Inspire and motivate children to dream and achieve through technology.
What We're Looking For
* Enthusiasm for teaching, technology, and children's education.
* Basic coding knowledge (Scratch, Python, or similar).
* Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
* Patience, creativity, and empathy.
* Teaching/tutoring experience is welcome but not required—training provided.
