Job Description
• Diagnose unit repair needs and perform designated repairs on company and customer-owned commercial generators/engines as directed.
• Perform troubleshooting and notify the Service Manager of outstanding issues.
• Complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate highly developed technical and troubleshooting skills with strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Seek continuous self-development to improve personal, technical, and interpersonal skills.
• Verify findings by reviewing gauge readings and procedures, comparing them to manufacturer specifications.
• Install, replace, rebuild, or repair parts and equipment promptly and according to specifications.
• Follow all Foley safety policies and procedures, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment and adhering to contamination control guidelines.
• Respond to after-hour emergency calls as directed by the supervisor.
• Test parts or equipment and perform quality checks after work completion.
• Secure all equipment and complete required paperwork at the end of each shift.
• Possess basic computer skills and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Maintain a clean driving record and current driver's license.
Recommended Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience with Cat/Non-Cat power generation units.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Assist the parts department in researching and ordering needed parts.
• Preferably possess strong computer skills, with knowledge of SisWeb and ET.
