The Role
The Customer & Economic Regulation team within Uisce Éireann is responsible for setting and managing regulation governance and policy, and for interacting with key stakeholders to influence regulation and legislation in relation to Uisce Éireann. The team works closely with the Uisce Éireann Leadership team, senior managers and other Strategic, Resilience & Regulation areas to develop and support the embedding of regulatory decisions and practices within Uisce Éireann.
The Regulatory Affairs team is responsible for managing interactions with all regulatory stakeholders, leading Uisce Éireann’s response to consultations and ensuring compliance with the economic regulatory framework. The team also coordinates the Uisce Éireann revenue control process and associated workstreams.
Reporting to the Regulatory Affairs Manager, the PMO and Data Quality Analyst will support the submission of timely and accurate compliance reporting to the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU), and assist in developing regulatory projects and policy proposals for submission to the CRU.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

Provide compliance reporting support to the Customer & Economic Regulation team and wider business to ensure consistency and alignment of annual regulatory submissions.
Carry out research and analysis to inform the development of regulatory projects and policy proposals.
Support Uisce Éireann’s input to the CRU consultation process for new regulatory policy initiatives. Draft high‑quality submission papers and coordinate inputs from internal stakeholders.
Monitor developments in utility network regulation in Ireland and internationally, and interpret implications for Uisce Éireann.
Provide regulatory support and guidance to the Connections and Developer Services (CDS) team in relation to the application of connection charging policy, connections related customer complaints and other regulatory policy matters.
Provide updates to the CRU on matters relating to connections and respond to CRU queries, as required.
Support the delivery of annual compliance reporting to the CRU and the delivery of the annual workplan. Work closely with the relevant business areas to ensure that reports are delivered to a high quality and in the format agreed with the CRU.

General Duties and Responsibilities

Support the Regulatory Affairs Team to deliver high‑quality and accurate annual submissions to the CRU.
Collaborate with key internal stakeholders across the UÉ business.
Work as part of the C&ER team to deliver the annual workplan to the CRU.
Be responsible for promoting and delivering health and safety commitments across UÉ and its supply chain.
Conduct duties in accordance with Uisce Éireann’s Information Security policies, standards, processes and controls.
Support the delivery of the Uisce Éireann Transformation Programme, driving results required within the Directorate and supporting organisation‑wide objectives.
Other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Relevant third level qualification and / or accreditation is desirable.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the water, utilities or similar industries is desirable.
Highly motivated individual, working to the highest professional standards and with proven ability to deliver results within a team.
Ability to develop effective partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders and to listen to diverse perspectives.
Strong background in upholding organisational values through decision‑making and constructive actions.
Experience in taking ownership of safety responsibilities and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience in independently resolving customer challenges while maintaining high service standards.
Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and analyse problems and make improvement decisions that benefit the team and communities.
Proven track record in identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovation.
Demonstrate the ability to fix safety issues quickly and look for improvements in line with business strategy.
