Job Summary
A Senior Equity Analyst role has become available at a global Asset Management firm. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Investment Officer and have the opportunity to progress their career in stock selection.
The Role:
This position involves assisting in the origination of new investment ideas and ongoing management of existing investments in the funds. Key responsibilities include monitoring and conducting bottom-up analysis on public equity and multi-asset portfolios, researching and due diligence on new and existing investment ideas, preparing investment papers and proposals accordingly, creating and maintaining financial models, developing and maintaining relationships with companies, advisers, and industry participants, and implementing and ensuring adherence to compliance procedures associated with the relevant fund prospectuses, investment processes, and risk limits.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates should have 5-8 years of relevant experience in industries such as Equity Research, Fund Management, Private Equity, or Corporate Finance. Holding a CFA/ACA qualification is preferred. Strong passion and aptitude for investment and stock picking are essential, along with strong financial skills including financial modeling in Excel and analytical capability. Additionally, strong people skills, capacity to build and maintain relationships, and interest and knowledge in ESG/SFDR are beneficial.
