Financial Accountant – Cork
CPL is recruiting a qualified Financial Accountant to join the expanding finance team of a well-established and growing Cork based business. This dynamic company has recently strengthened its presence in the Irish market and is entering an exciting phase of integration and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly management accounts to strict deadlines.
* Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and prepare monthly financial packs.
* Manage monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
* Assist with KPI reporting and the preparation of monthly management reports.
* Contribute to monthly forecasting and budgeting processes.
* Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
* Support the annual audit and liaise with external auditors.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* A qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
* A strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
* Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
* Commercially aware with the ability to contribute strategically to financial planning.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
