B2B Account Executive - Vet/Agri (Onboarding + Growth) Location: Hybrid - Mostly remote with nationwide travel Type: Full-time, permanent Compensation & Package Competitive base salary & commission Mileage reimbursed or company vehicle provided (per company policy) Subsistence stipend to cover meals and travel-related expenses Exceptional expenses (e.g. accommodation) reimbursed separately Commission accelerators for over-achievement FRS Recruitment are hiring for an Account Executive on behalf of VetDrive VetDrive is a leading provider of veterinary practice management software, supporting clinics with modern, cloud-based solutions across appointment management, clinical records, bookkeeping, accounting, and mobile apps for both veterinary teams and pet owners.
As the company continues its rapid expansion, we are seeking an energetic and ambitious Account Executive to join the team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building long-term customer relationships, and brings a strong commercial drive.
VetDrive is now a proud member of the Herdwatch Team who are supported by their parent organisation FRS Coop.
About the Role As Account Executive (New Business + Onboarding), you will own the full sales cycle - from prospecting and pipeline generation through to closing deals and leading onboarding to a successful go-live.
You will acquire new veterinary practices, deliver tailored demos, negotiate agreements, and ensure each new customer is fully trained and operational.
This role suits a self-sufficient, consultative seller who can deliver both commercial wins and an excellent customer onboarding experience.

Core Objectives Generate and manage a qualified pipeline of veterinary practices across Ireland Close new business at agreed revenue and margin targets Lead onboarding and training through to a successful go-live Establish strong foundations for future upsell, expansion, and referrals Key Responsibilities
1) New Business Development Identify and prioritise target practices through structured territory planning Generate outbound leads via calls, email, LinkedIn, events, referrals, and on-site visits Qualify prospects using agreed criteria (need, readiness, budget, decision process, timeline) Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline stages, forecasting, and next steps
2) Sales Process Ownership Run discovery sessions to understand clinical and operational workflows Deliver high-quality product demonstrations to multiple stakeholder groups Build clear commercial proposals linking value to practice outcomes Handle objections, negotiate effectively, and close agreements Coordinate internally where required (pricing, technical inputs, legal/commercial terms)
3) Onboarding & Go-Live Delivery Lead customer kick-offs and agree onboarding plans, responsibilities, and milestones Deliver or coordinate remote and on-site training for practice teams Work cross-functionally to resolve technical/configuration issues promptly Ensure practices reach go-live with agreed workflows and operational readiness Conduct post-go-live check-ins to confirm adoption and identify next-step opportunities
4) Market Presence & Relationship Building Build credibility with practice owners, managers, and clinical staff Represent VetDrive professionally at industry events and in local networks Generate referrals through outstanding delivery and customer satisfaction Skills & Experience 2-5+ years in B2B sales, field sales, or quota-carrying roles (SME/SaaS experience a plus) Proven ability to prospect, build pipeline, and close consistently Strong discovery, demo, and negotiation skills Comfortable delivering onboarding kick-offs and training sessions Highly organised, with strong follow-through across multiple deals and onboarding streams Willing and able to travel nationwide Strong CRM discipline and forecasting accuracy Advantageous: experience selling into veterinary, healthcare, or complex SME environments VetDrive values diversity and is committed to equal employment opportunities.
