Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Mechanical Engineer, based in Dublin with flexibility for some remote work. The Mechanical Engineer will engage in key tasks such as mechanical design, machine development, and CAD modeling to support ongoing and new projects. Additional responsibilities include optimizing designs through research and development (R&D) and contributing to effective project planning and management. The role also involves collaborative problem-solving to innovate mechanical solutions for emerging AI-related technologies.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering, including Machine Design and related problem-solving skills
* Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and familiarity with relevant design and modeling software
* Knowledge of Project Management practices, including planning, resource allocation, and meeting deadlines
* Ability to conduct Research and Development (R&D) to create innovative mechanical solutions for cutting-edge applications
* Strong analytical thinking and a detail-oriented approach to engineering challenges
* Effective communication and collaboration skills within multi-disciplinary teams
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required
* Experience in AI-related or high-tech industries is a plus
