NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC)

We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
Shift Pattern
Monday – Friday standard hours.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for leading the Directorate Finance Team in the provision of a professional financial management service to key stakeholders across Health, Academia and Industry.
You will be competent in the management of financial information, financial reporting, budgetary control processes and governance arrangements.
Capable of working with finance, clinical and non-clinical staff at all levels, you will have the capacity for analytical and innovative thinking and a track record of delivering to strict timelines within a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
Ideally a professionally qualified accountant (or with equivalent work experience) you will be highly motivated and able to use initiative with excellent IT, communication and organisational skills.

Additional Information
As from 1st April ****, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week.
Part-time hours will be reduced pro-rata.
However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
