High Voltage Plant Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Plant Engineer to lead our electrical substation design projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage the HV team for electrical substation design projects.
* Collaborate with other disciplines and oversee the FEED design and detailed design for substation refurbishment/extensions and new-build projects.
* Have in-depth knowledge of the transmission and distribution sector, having worked with key T&D clients in the UK.
The ideal candidate will be proactive in expanding their knowledge and understanding of the electricity transmission and distribution industry, capable of mentoring and developing the wider T&D team, and engaged in the engineering community.
Requirements:
* A relevant Degree in electrical engineering.
* Significant experience of design and specification production for HV Substation plant electrical power systems and associated power system components.
* Ideal experience as a Contractor Design Approval Engineer (CDAE) or equivalent role.
