Accountant Role in EMEA

Position Overview
The position is responsible for managing general ledger-related tasks for European entities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist finance teams in preparing US GAAP accounts and month-end closing duties.
2. Posting key journals in accordance with month-end checklists.
3. Completing balance sheet reconciliations within corporate deadlines.
4. Facilitating preparation of month-end reporting packs and supplementary reports.
5. Preparing intercompany reconciliations.
6. Interaction with transaction processing groups.
7. Providing information requested by internal and external auditors.
8. Ad-hoc tasks as required to support finance functions.
9. Backup for other colleagues where necessary.
Requirements:
* Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Business degree or diploma including accounting.
* Previous experience in a shared service centre.
* SAP user level experience.
* Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality.
* Excellent IT skills with a working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Strong attention to detail with good time management skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines.
